What a fantastic team at your Sirley,Solihull branch, the information and communication we received was brilliant. On the day of the funeral the whole team were lovely,professional and kind.

My father and I were extremely impressed and grateful with the kind, empathetic and supportive approach from Katie.
Neither of us had any idea in how to arrange a funeral, Katie guided us through the whole process with kindness and professionalism, she always made time for us and willing to help with any request.
Overall we found the whole team involved professional and caring during a difficult time with my Mums passing.

My family used Thomas Bragg for my mother’s cremation. I called from the USA to discuss collection of her ashes and was told they were busy but would call back. I explained I was calling from abroad (they said that was fine), left my number, and then never received a return call.

I phoned again and was told I could collect my mother’s ashes from the Knowle branch on December 22nd (or possibly the 23rd). Because I was travelling all the way from California, I called a third time to reconfirm December 22nd at the Knowle branch. Each time, I was assured this was fine.

When I arrived on December 22nd, I was rudely informed by the woman at the Knowle office that she knew nothing about this and that my mother’s ashes were not there. No apology was offered. After calling a colleague at the Shirley branch, it emerged that the ashes were still at the crematorium and had not even been collected.

We requested that the ashes be available the following day at 1pm. When we returned, they were finally there. I was told I had apparently spoken to someone named “Donna” and was given a very half-hearted apology. Throughout, the situation was treated as though it was somehow my fault.

The lack of care, organisation, and basic compassion was shocking.

We were completely lost when we lost our lovely Mom in November. I had used Thomas Bragg previously for my sons funeral many years ago, so decided that we would come back to them. Right from the first contact, when they came to collect my Mom, the staff were amazing, so caring and kind. Dana was our main contact and honestly, we would have been lost without her. She was amazing!!! Such a kind and caring lady and nothing was ever to much trouble for her. I loved that when she spoke about the deceased people in her care that she referred to them as "our loved ones", how lovely is that. We found her to be such a patient and understanding person and she made a very difficult time so much easier for us as a family. The funeral was handled with such care and professionalism and the staff on the day were lovely, again nothing was too much trouble for them and showed us nothing but kindness and caring throughout the day. My family have used Thomas Bragg in Shirley for years and I had my first personal experience with them in October. From the first call I was at ease, and from the first meeting with Dana, I knew dad would be well looked after. We had lots of requests and were unsure if they could be met, but we needn’t have worried at all as nothing was too much of an ask for Dana and all of the team. Every team member we came into contact with were absolutely lovely, so friendly, compassionate yet very professional and responsive. Claire was our funeral director on the day, and she and her guys were absolute stars and with us every step of the way on what was one of our family’s hardest days. Highly recommend.

My father, sister & me were so impressed with the whole process from the initial phone call to Thomas Bragg & Sons to the last conversation I had with Dana when I called in to collect something of my mom’s after her funeral. A special thanks must go to Dana & Claire for all their support & guidance. Although very sad, they really helped to make mom’s last journey something very special.
