My family have used Thomas Bragg in Shirley for years and I had my first personal experience with them in October. From the first call I was at ease, and from the first meeting with Dana, I knew dad would be well looked after. We had lots of requests and were unsure if they could be met, but we needn’t have worried at all as nothing was too much of an ask for Dana and all of the team. Every team member we came into contact with were absolutely lovely, so friendly, compassionate yet very professional and responsive. Claire was our funeral director on the day, and she and her guys were absolute stars and with us every step of the way on what was one of our family’s hardest days. Highly recommend.

My father, sister & me were so impressed with the whole process from the initial phone call to Thomas Bragg & Sons to the last conversation I had with Dana when I called in to collect something of my mom’s after her funeral. A special thanks must go to Dana & Claire for all their support & guidance. Although very sad, they really helped to make mom’s last journey something very special.

We were rather lost when we lost our dear grandmother at home. But we were then referred to Thomas Bragg and Sons, and to be honest they were amazing from the start. Extremely helpful and diligent especially when a lot of emotion was involved. Really helped guide us through what would work best especially given our religious requirements also. We will always be grateful for the kindness all the staff showed. Also a shout out for Katie who put up with our many questions always answered patiently. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Dana was extremely helpful in her assistance with the incredibly difficult process of having my father’s remains repatriated from the UK to the US. There were many hurdles with this but Dana was very kind is taking my (constant) phone calls and updating me. She was also very sensitive and empathetic every step of the way. I would definitely recommend Thomas Bragg and Sons.

We dealt with Kathryn at the Knowle Office when organising my Mum’s funeral. She couldn’t have been more helpful & lovely to deal with. We had tight deadlines to meet & she effortlessly guided us through all the steps. We couldn’t have done it without her & our lovely day we had celebrating Mum’s life was due in no small part to her hard work & dedication. Thank you Kathryn.

Nothing can ever prepare you for the heartache of losing a child even if they were 24, it would have been so much harder if it wasnt for Claire and staff at Thomas Bragg, everything was done with care and compassion and with complete understanding of requirements from dressing him to receiving his ashes, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Claire looked after us after my son took his own life and she was with us from start to finish, great communication and nothing was an issue. Claire dealt with everything and took away a lot of stress that we did not need at the time. Thank you Claire.
