>On Friday 31st May 2019, Thomas Bragg and Sons organised a Quiz Night to raise funds for the Knowle branch of the Royal British Legion.
Teams had to pit their wits against each other in the battle to be crowned Knowles brainiest, with rounds including general knowledge, music and an anagram teaser.
In total £271 was raised and presented to the Chairman of the Knowle Legion Mr Les Sparkes. The event was also supported by the Chair of the Women’s Section Sally Warren as well as other committee members.
Quiz organiser extraordinaire and funeral arranger Kayleigh Hughes said:” I want to thank all of the local businesses who provided raffle prizes to support the event.”
Les Sparkes added: “It was a great night, with great feedback from members of the Legion”.
The next quiz night ‘A Quiz to Remember’ will be held on Saturday 9th November at Knowle Royal British Legion.
